Cuisinart Stick Blender
I'm so excited about getting a Cuisinart stick blender! I was shopping around earlier this week and came across it online. I need to replace the old one I have that stopped working, so I did a bit of research and decided to go with this Cuisinart. Have you seen all the colors it's offered in? I can't decide between the brushed chrome or metallic red. I love that it has a two-speed motor that actually twists off when the stick part needs washing, and the stick can go in the dishwasher!I can't wait to start using this. It'll be so much simpler to use this for my smoothies in the morning instead of lugging out my blender. The kids will love making shakes with it. I knew you could use it for stuff like dips, dressings, and soups, but I also read you can use it for pancake batter. I'll have to try that for sure. Reviewers have said that they've used it for homemade whipped cream, applesauce, mayo, hummus, and making baby food, too.
The vast majority of reviews on this are all good. Most say they only need to use the low speed, and they love the easy clean up. Some from back in 2013 and 2014 had issues with plastic parts, but that seems to be resolved with the newer version. Currently, the small number of poor reviews are from a few people who don't like the new safety button or think a 3-4 year lifespan is too short. It's true, things are not made today like they used to be. Knowing that, I'm going to put my Cuisinart Stick Blender
to work almost daily. And I can't wait to get started!
